Energy Balls by Internal Balance

Ingredients

  •  1 cup nut pulp or ground up nuts (protein and fiber).

Nut pulp is the left overs from making your own nut milk. Check out this site if you have never done this before. https://www.thekitchn.com/homemade-cashew-milk-243347

  •     1⁄2 cup nut butter (protein and fiber) 


  •  1⁄4 cup cacao powder (magnesium) –Can remove this if you desire 
non-chocolate balls 


  •  1⁄4 cup honey, agave or maple syrup (add less if desired) 


You can double or triple ingredients to make a large batch

 Options to add (can add with other ingredients into balls or rolled on outside or balls)

  • Hemp seeds (protein) 


  • Sesame seeds (calcium and magnesium) 


  • Flax seeds (fiber) 


  • Shredded coconut 


  •  Coconut oil (extra good fats for the brain and joints) 


  • Oats (fiber and minerals) 


  • Coconut 

  • Extra dark chocolate 

Directions

  •  Mix together ingredients, you can do this my hand or in a blender. You will need a food processor or blender to crush nuts or make nut pulp. Mix until ingredients will stick together easily. 

  • Roll into balls

  • If freezing, it works best to freeze balls on cookie sheet then transfer them to a bag once frozen
