Purpose: To bring people together

Now more than ever, people and to connect and support each other. What better a place to do this than in your own neighbourhood.

Food is something that traditionally, across cultures, brings people together. The goal of this event is to share time and food in a safe community environment.

Event:

Laurel Garner (165 Nesbitt Crescent) is a nutritionist and she would like to share her knowledge with you.

This event will feature foods from a variety of sources. The goal is sustainable food, that fuels your body and mind created at a reasonable price. Hopefully there will be new flavors and taste experiences for everyone!

What can you bring:

·     Curiosity and hunger;)As a member of Nesbitt Crescent community, I hope that you can bring a welcoming adventurous spirit and a hungry belly;)

·      Recipes- If you’re willing, please bring a special recipe to share with the community. If you want to include a story about the recipe that would be amazing. Please write out/print out a copy of the recipe and the story you wish to accompany the recipe. Please don’t forget your name and contact information (unless you would like to keep it anonymous).
After the event Laurel hopes to have enough recipes to create a Nesbitt Crescent cookbook. This could be made into an online resource or even a hard copy if there is enough interest and content!! Something to share to generations to come!
